Psssst...!

  23. Maria, I have three, count 'em, three sets of those awful doors. I had considered using the bead board, but wondered if it would make the doors too heavy? Had even thought of using a jig saw to cut the louvers out. Also, on the trim: the clearance on mine from the front of the louvers to the crosspieces is only 1/8", so the bead board will stick out a bit. Did you just caulk around the outside edges of the trim? or could you find trim with a lip on it? Thanks.
