Emma Cassi

I always love to see the way creative people live, how they choose to decorate their spaces, and how these in turn seem to reflect a little bit of who they are as people, and as artists and artisans.

I've admired Emma Cassi's sense of style for a while now, and so it is no surprise that I love her London apartment. It's stylish and classic, and it has an almost ethereal quality, much like her jewelry. Yet it also seems very livable, with hints of her work and of her family life, Antonin (her son) being very present in almost every nook. Take a look and see for yourselves; it's really a warm and lovely place...

  1. What a beautiful home! I love the combination of textures and subtle details. Interesting furniture, especially the little wood and metal chair in the living room, it is a nice contrast to the big leather chairs.

  3. That's a home with soul :) I just came over from another blog showcasing a home filled to the brim with **valuable** antiques. Lovely. I have to say, though, that I would choose Cassi's home over it in a heartbeat! The character, the heart, the personality - more priceless than any antique.

Thanks for the gorgeous inspiration photos, Maria. I'm really having fun following your blog!

    XO,
    Jacci

  4. I'm so glad you featured her home Maria, I'm a big fan as well. Surprise! ;0) I've seen her son's room and actually fell in love with it at first sight, but have not seen the other spaces. Beautiful, just as expected.

  21. After seeing Emma's comment, I looked online and was able to read a bit about Home Is Where the Heart Is by Ilse Crawford. It truly looks like a fabulous book. I'm interested in all that it explores and have just requested it from my local library.

  31. for sticking things to walls, there's a great blue adhesive putty product that I've used before. It's reusable and usually available at Staple's or Office Depot (or teacher supply stores).
