No deep thoughts here today. Just lovely photos by Anna Kern of a gorgeous little home in southern Sweden.
I love the vintage posters paired with the subtle colors on the walls and the punchy prints of the sweet fabrics and that aqua frame;
the easy camaraderie of perfectly mismatched furniture all coexisting in graceful harmony;
...and those stunning yellow doors? Yes, yes, and many times over, yes. And please. And thank you.
As a little side note, I'd like to thank you all again for your kind notes lately - I really appreciate every single one of them.
That's it for now. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

What a beautiful home Maria. I think I could quite easily move in and not change a thing! Wonder if the owners would like me as their house guest ;) Hope you and yours have a wonderful weekend my dear. Hugs ~ Txx
ReplyDeletelove those yellow doors :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous cheery home - I love when homes have such pretty personalities.
ReplyDeleteSorry your plans aren't going as you had hoped...there's always a reason. :) I'm sure it will present itself but in the meantime you get to show up more pictures of your home which you know I love! :)
Enjoy your day ~
Sarah

pretty, indeed! yellow doors are a show stopper! maybe taking the house off the market for a while will be a bit of a relief. something less to wait for. maybe? hopefully. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI really like the rugged leather chair paired with the delicate floral pillow. So sweet.
I adore those yellow doors. I'm awfully tempted to paint my red door yellow, but then I'd have to change the name of my blog.
ReplyDeletePeaceful and bright. Yet ANOTHER reason to long for Sweden... I'd so love to visit!
ReplyDeletepretty indeed! hope your little guy has a great start of first grade! and, of course, there's that thing with the house...so so sorry. but there's more time for you to enjoy all of the beauty and love you've put into it. best to you as always.
ReplyDeleteHi Maria. What beautiful photos! Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you took your house off the market. Selling a home is so stressful. More stressful than buying, I think. Just relax now and enjoy all of the beautiful things that you have done to home. And be glad that you don't have to start over from the beginning. Not quite yet anyway. :)
Hope you have a great weekend!
Beth.
Oh how charming! And real. I admire how it looks 'tidied for visitors' rather than 'styled for magazines'.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow doors are awesome! Love it!
ReplyDeletepretty. thanks for the candy for the soul. mmm yellow!!! on another note....this is a weird time in the housing market. wonder when it will change. not much is selling in our area right now....
ReplyDeletelove the doors. never thought to paint just the doors a pretty color like that!
ReplyDeleteoh those doors, I have a thing about doors!!

love it all! how great would it be to wake up to yellow doors every morning? i wish my mismatched furniture coexisted so well together. i'm dealing with a horrible clash right now. if i can ever get myself together and recover one of my chairs with vintage sheets, i think there will be more calm in my living room. thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeletelove this home - it looks so relaxing and easy. The yellow doors are fabulous!
ReplyDeletewell, now you can relax and see what life has in store for you ..everything happens for a reason. Something good is coming.
