What a lovely collection - I can't believe those beautiful wooden floors are recycled painter's scaffolding! Wonder where I could find some???

ReplyDeleteLeigha
great inspiration. love the wood floors in picture #5!
ReplyDeletelovely...especially like the last image, plus the fireplace with the disco ball - 'cos we all need a little bit of disco - right? I hope fall is treating you well too! Best, Annie
ReplyDeleteLoving the weathered natural materials paired with the more contemporary sleek materials. You are goooood.
ReplyDeleteThese shots remind me so much of my time in England. All I need to do is light the fire, put the kettle on and find my chocolate biscuits and I would be at home!
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos!! thanks!
ReplyDeleteOoo -- that last picture gives me a good idea. We need something charming, but practical to carry and store firewood in the living room. That big woven basket with handles would be just the thing! Hope you are well, Maria.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Emma, I'm sorry to take this long to respond. I have no idea where I got that photo and now I can't find the source at all - maybe that could have given us a clue..! (Rats!)
ReplyDeleteI think you'd probably have to get the old scaffolding first (craigslist? ebay? habitat? local junk shop?) and then send it to a mill to get it cut into floor planks. I'll let you know if I stumble into anything like it.
xoox,
-maria
